Family
Like almost all places you could visit, Family is extremely important, and in Cypriot culture the family is traditionally very supportive of each other, and follow a family hierarchy. Elderly people in Cyprus are highly respected and honoured as they are very high in the family hierarchy and represent a great deal of wisdom. In social situations it is always the eldest person who is introduced first.
Religion
The main religions in Cyprus are Christian and muslim.
