Visas in Cyprus
If you’re a UK citizen (or any EU country) you don’t require a visa providing your travel is for less than 90 days and the purpose of your visit is for holiday. If you plan to work in Cyprus or stay for longer than 90 days you will need to get a Visa.
If you’re travelling to Cyprus from Austraillia, America, Canada, New Zealand or any other country outside of the EU your passport must be valid for 3 months beyond your intended stay. No visa is required providing the purpose of your visit is for a holiday.
Foreigners who enter the Republic of Cyprus by crossing an unpatrolled section of the ‘green line’ will be deemed to have entered illegally and will be fined. If you’re an EU citizen holding a valid passport you will not experience any difficulties crossing the ‘green line’
