There are three types of taxis in Cyprus Transurban taxis – these taxis connect all of the major cities in Cyprus and run every half hour on weekdays from 6am to 6pm. On weekdays these taxis finish at 5pm. Urban taxis – these taxis provide a 24 hour service in all major tourist cities and can be booked in advance or hired from the street. All urban taxis are obliged to use taximeters. |
